WORK
The Argyll Awaits team brings a diverse background of experience, both individually and collectively, across a wide range of projects—including small business startup support, event management in both commercial and charitable sectors, and operational services such as business and programme infrastructure redevelopment.

Live at the Loch
Tarbert Music Festival
Argyll Awaits is a founding member of the newly launched Live at the Loch (LATL) festival management team, established in 2025 to breathe new life into the Tarbert Music Festival. With a fresh vision and renewed energy, the aim is to elevate the event to the level of Scotland’s top music festivals—while proudly preserving its community roots. The festival remains entirely volunteer-run and relies on strong local support.
Argyll Awaits led a full rebrand and restructure, including a new name, logo, website, social media presence, and organisational framework. These efforts have already shown impact: in the first three months alone, LATL gained 1,500 new social media followers, recorded 17,900 visits across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and increased Facebook reach by an impressive 1,400%, reaching over 19,000 people.
In just the first two months, Argyll Awaits secured over £10,000 in funding, with additional proposals and grant applications underway. We've also obtained approximately £2,000 worth of in-kind donations and developed sponsorship packages that offer mutual promotional benefits for both the festival and partner companies.
Beyond numbers, Argyll Awaits has fostered a collaborative community of local musicians, volunteers, and businesses, reinvigorating the spirit and purpose of this community-led festival. We're also actively exploring ways to make the event more environmentally sustainable and reduce its impact on the local area.
With our extensive experience in festival operations, artist coordination, community engagement, and fundraising, we’re confident that Live at the Loch is on track to become one of Scotland’s most beloved annual music events.

Asia for Animals Coalition
Largest network of animal NGOs
Both of Argyll Awaits founders have worked for the Asia for Animals Coalition (AfA) which is the largest network of animal protection organisations in the world, with a focus on Asia.
As CEO, Sarah led the transformation of the network from a basic collection of organisations into a dynamic, interconnected coalition. Under her leadership, the network expanded its reach and impact, launching global programmes, active working groups, and world-class events that elevated collaboration across the sector.
Craig led the capacity-building function, the mainstay of which was conducting bespoke one to one consulting with organisations all over Asia to help them overcome complex problems and operate more smoothly.

Yoga Fundraisers
Fundraising events
We set up ‘Cornwall Yoga Fundraisers’ and went on to hold fundraising events in different areas. These were held to benefit urgent issues such as the 2015 Nepal earthquake and also, as part of our ongoing charity work for Animals Asia with the ‘Big Bear Stretch’.
Yoga Fundraiser Events that bring people together in support of meaningful causes. From initial planning to final stretch, we take care of the full event coordination—ensuring a smooth, inspiring, and impactful experience for everyone involved.
Each event is thoughtfully designed to reflect the values of the cause it supports. We handled
Venue selection (indoor or outdoor)
Class planning and delivery (all levels welcome)
Marketing and promotion (posters, social media graphics, event listings)
Ticketing or donation setup
Partnerships with local businesses for added value (e.g. refreshments, raffle prizes, goodie bags)
On-the-day coordination and follow-up
Led by an experienced instructor and event coordinator, these sessions offered a unique way to promote wellbeing while raising awareness and funds.

World Federation for Animals
Membership Development and Operations
We provided comprehensive membership and operational development support to strengthen the internal structure and external impact of organisations. This included redesigning membership models to improve engagement and retention, establishing clear onboarding processes, and implementing targeted communication strategies to enhance member value.
Operationally, we conducted in-depth reviews of internal systems and workflows, streamlining procedures to increase efficiency and accountability. We supported the development of strategic plans, clarified governance structures, and introduced practical tools for performance tracking and team coordination.
Our work resulted in more cohesive operations, stronger member relationships, and improved organisational resilience—laying a solid foundation for long-term growth and sustainability.
